Perhaps he has forgotten that he was elected in every step of his political career and has yet to be anointed king.
{REST} I was a delegate to the Virginia Republican convention and cast my vote along with many good fellow Republicans for Oliver North. I was, along with all my associates, prepared to support fully the candidate of the majority. I am proud to report that in spite of the differences among us, there wasn't a radical, discourteous, unkind person involved in the process. I'm proud of our collective work and will work just as hard to send Ollie to Washington.
If Warner elects to depart the party that sent him to office, then let his divorce come quickly; we'll all be better off with one faithful Ollie standing in the fray and one less chameleon to concern us.

\ On July 20, 1944, Col. Count Claus von Stauffenberg, a trusted officer on the German general staff, attempted to assassinate Hitler to put an end to Nazi madness. His attempt failed, and he was hunted down and summarily executed the same night. Loyal Nazis despised him as a traitor, attacked his character, and vilified him in every way they could.
During Iran-Contra, Ollie North was fighting the madness which was communism and its spread to Central America. To the dismay of the liberal establishment he, along with many others, was successful.
Ollie is now fighting the madness that liberal policies have reduced this country to over the past 45-plus years.
Now the liberal establishment (which has yet to acknowledge the evils of communism) and ``moderate Republicans'' (who have no real convictions) are attacking Ollie with Nazi-like efficiency and thoroughness. They despise him as a traitor, attack his character and vilify him in every way they can. They don't want this man around to remind them of their failed allegiances.
Fate and the Nazis saw to it that Col. von Stauffenberg could not be here to lend his support to Ollie. What effect will fate and the liberal establishment have on Ollie and the future of America?
