FRANCIS M. GALLAGHER

{LEAD} Francis Martin Gallagher, 84, of the 400 block of Connecticut Ave., a retired engineer with Curtis Bay Towing Company, died June 10, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

He retired in 1972 after 43 years of service. Mr. Gallagher was a native of Portsmouth, Va. He was the widower of Margaret Brady Gallagher. He was a Roman Catholic, and a member of the Elks Lodge. Mr. Gallagher was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy.

{REST} Survivors include two sons, Thomas J. Gallagher of Suffolk, Va., and Robert A. Gallagher of Alexandria, Va.; and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. James E. Dorson. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, will be handling the arrangements.
