{LEAD} Mrs. Simmie B. Bond, 72, of Guardian Care Nursing Home, Roanoke Rapids, N.C., died June 11, 1994, at Guardian Care Nursing Home, Roanoke Rapids.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Simmie Lassiter, Guardian Care Nursing Home, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Jeannette Collier, Franklin, Va.; and a nephew, Mr. Tim Collier, Vancouver, Washington.

{REST} A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. June 13, 1994, at Grace Episcopal Church by the Rev. W. Lea Powell, IV. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery. Family will receive at Branch Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
