ADDISON A. KING

{LEAD} Addison A. King of the 3400 block of East River Road died June 9 in South Regional Medical Center.

Mr. King was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a writer for the Journal & Guide, Afro-American and Pittsburg Courier Newspapers. He was a member of St. Stevens Episcopal Church in Petersburg, Va., and was very active in church activities and community services.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Hermione Hughes Carter; two daughters, Patricia King Wilkins and Frieda Lacy, both of Washington, D.C.; a brother, David King of Norfolk; three grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Roger Wilkins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stevens Episcopal Church. Rev. John T.W. Hermon officiating. Interment will be in Norfolk, Va. James M. Wilkerson Funeral Est., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, Va., 732-8911, is handling arrangements. Friends and pallbearers are requested to assemble at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
