DAVID GLYNN ABESHAHEEN, SR.

{LEAD} David Glynn Abeshaheen, Sr., of the 4600 block of Berrywood Rd., the former owner and manager of Tradewinds Motel & Apartments died in his residence on June 11, 1994. He was 71.

Mr. Abeshaheen was born in Knoxville, Tn., and was a graduate of Knoxville High School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge (NU)244 in Knoxville. He was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church.

{REST} He was the beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Leitch Abeshaheen. Other family members include one daughter, Debra A. Diffie and her husband William of Arlington, Va., one step daughter, Holly E. Wilson and husband Jack of Virginia Beach, one step son Dale C. Brown, Jr. of Virginia Beach, one sister, Selma McCully of Knoxville, Tn. and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13th at 11:00 A.M. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. Lawrence Harper. Masonic rites and military honors will be accorded at the gravesite. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel is handling the arrangements.

The family will be at 4668 Berrywood Rd., Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to CARING HOUSE, INC., 2625 Pickett Rd., Durham, N.C. 27705.
