DONALD T. EAGLES, M.D.

{LEAD} Dr. Donald Taylor Eagles, M.D., 50, of the 1600 block of North Muddy Creek Road, died June 9, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Dr. Eagles was a native of Fargo, North Dakota, and was a partner with Virginia Beach Ear, Nose & Throat LTD since Sept. 1977. He was a graduate of Fargo Central High School, Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin- Cum Laude (PHI Beta Kappa) receiving his B.A. in June 1965; University of Minnesota, Minneapolis receiving his B.S., M.D. in June 1969; University of Iowa, Iowa City receiving his Masters of Science in Otolaryngology in May 1975.

{REST} His professional experience includes: Rotating Intership with Hennipen County General Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota from June 1969 - June 1970; Resident in General Surgery at the VA Hospital, Hines Illinois from July 1970 - July 1971; Resident, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa from July 1971 - July 1975; Associate in Otolaryngology with the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery from 1974 - 1975; and former Chief of Surgery at Virginia Beach General Hospital, Virginia Beach, Va.; and a member of the Cleft Palate Clinic.

He was a member of the Lions Club, and past President of the Princess Anne Hunt Club.

Survivors include his wife, Yasmin Mariette Eagles of Va. Beach; one daughter, Liza Eagles of Va. Beach; a son, Daniel Eagles of Iowa; and a brother, Keehn Eagles of Minnesota.

Don was a loving husband and father, an excellent, caring physician and surgeon. He was an accomplished horseman, fox hunter and a budding Tri-athlete.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 1994, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Road Chapel, Virginia Beach. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Bat Conservation International, P.O. Box 162603, Austin, TX 78716-2603.
