GEORGE A. HAMILTON

{LEAD} George Alvin Hamilton, 64, of the 7400 block of Yorktown Drive died June 11, 1994 in Hampton.

He was a native of Spencer, Neb., and retired from Pet Dairy Inc. Ice Cream Division in 1982 after 23 years of service. He was the widower of Katherine E. Hamilton. Also, he was a Navy veteran of Korea, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a Teamsters representative for Pet Dairy Inc., ice cream division.

{REST} Survivors include his two sons, Gerald Wayne Hamilton of Norfolk and George Lindsay Hamilton of Waynesboro, Va.; two sisters, Ruth Jensen of O'Neil, Neb., and Arlene Hamilton of Mitchell, S.D.; two brothers, Harold ``Shim'' Hamilton of Monterey, Calif., and Dean Hamilton of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and two stepdaughters, Rusaleen Cherry of Williamsburg, Va., and Anita Klavan of Virginia Beach.

The graveside service will be conduct at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Mr. Edward J. Hively. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
