He is born in Newport News, Va. He retired in 1980 as a supervisor engineering technician for the Combat Systems Dept. at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Court Street Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge (NU)178 and Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies. He was also a Navy Veteran of World War II.
{REST} Survivors include his wife, Frances B. Parsons, one son, Larry Lee Parsons and daughter in-law, Vickie S. Parsons of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Gregory Lee Parsons of Isle of White County, and Geoffrey Lee Parsons of Suffolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday by Dr. L. Wilbur Kersey in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Monday night from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
