HERBERT J. SCHNEIDER

{LEAD} Herbert J. Schneider, 72, a self-employed plumber, died June 12, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Schneider was born in Germany and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of East Meadow Fire Department in East Meadow, N.Y.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Irene Bland Schneider; one daughter, Caroline Schneider-Hare of Long Beach, N.Y.; one son, Bill Schneider of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and an aunt in Fairbanks, Alaska.

A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Ron Lee. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in South Side Cemetery, Troy, N.C. The family will receive friends prior to and following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Plaza Rescue Squad.
