{LEAD} Cody Ray Hurst of Brierdale Place, 2-year-old son of Christine Bennett Hurst and Gary M. Hurst, died June 12, 1994, in Norfolk.

Cody was born in Norfolk.

{REST} Other survivors include one brother, Wesley Michael Hurst of Portsmouth; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Samborowski of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Thearesa Hurst of Virginia Beach; paternal grandfather, Gary Hurst of Norfolk paternal stepgrandmother, Suzanne Hurst of Norfolk; and paternal great-grandmother, Effie Hurst of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Clark Mahoney. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and at 1508 Wingfield Ave., Chesapeake, at all other times.
