LOUISE M. NOLEN

{LEAD} Louise Martin Nolen, 74, of the 400 block of Forrest Ave., a retired beauty shop owner, died June 12, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Nolen was born in Duplin County, N.C., and was the widow of Clyde Wesley Nolen. She was a member of Glenwood Park Presbyterian Church and was a member of Senior Citizens Group of Glenwood Park.

{REST} Survivors include three sisters, Lola Hazlett of Baltimore, Margaret Gillespie of Wilmington, Del., and Myrtle Hare of Sun City, Fla.; three brothers, Jack Martin and Hubert Martin, both of Goldsboro, N.C., and Milford Martin of Raleigh; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mount Olive, N.C., by the Rev. Samuel Austin. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home, Norfolk, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Following the visitation, the body will be sent to Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or to Glenwood Park Presbyterian Church.
