EVELYN DERYDER BECKER

{LEAD} Evelyn DeRyder Becker, 70, of Hampton died Monday, June 13, 1994, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk and a Peninsula resident for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Wythe Presbyterian Church and its choir and was also active with the church boards. Mrs. Becker also served as a volunteer with Sentara Hampton General Hospital Auxiliary for 40 years.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, Harry H. Becker; a daughter, Marie B. Williams of Newport News; three sons, William C. Becker of Upland, Calif., Lawrence E. Becker of Yorktown and Robert C. Becker of Hampton; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Wythe Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Mark Stanley. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666.
