OTIS J. HURST JR.

{LEAD} Otis James Hurst Jr., 72, of the 9400 block of Granby St., a clerk, died June 14, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Hurst was born in Norfolk and was employed with Albano Cleaners.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Helen Hurst of Providence, R.I.; three sons, Raymond L. Hurst of Norfolk, Jimmy Hurst of Birmingham, Ala., and Tommy Hurst of Homestead, Fla.; three sisters, Fern Stewart of Hampton, Mable Reeves of Slidell, La., and Dorothy Sparks of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Rodney Hurst and Vernon M. Hurst, both of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
