LULA M. GUIONS

{LEAD} Lula M. Guions of the 200 block of Dale Drive, a retired short order cook, died June 11, 1994, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mrs. Guions was born in Elizabethtown, N.C., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station Cafeteria. She was a member of True Church of Deliverance, Portsmouth.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, Leamon Guions of Corona, N.Y.; three daughters, Loistine Williams, Ida Bass and Patricia McDaniel, all of Portsmouth; three sisters, Gracie McDowell of Elizabethtown, N.C., Alma Williams of Rutledge, Ga., and Margaret Toby of New York; two brothers, Wilbert McIver of Norfolk and Lonnie McDowell of Elizabethtown, N.C.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Garden of Prayer (NU)4, Marshall Avenue, Portsmouth, by Elder James E. Peacock. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
