I have a B.A. in history and know only too well how hard it is to get children (and adults) interested in the subject. Anyone who has doubts about Disney's rendition of our history should visit the Hall of Presidents and the American Showcase in Walt Disney World. The Walt Disney company brings to life the good and bad aspects of our country's development. In this day of declining pride in our nation, Disney offers a glimmer of hope, a resurgence of dignity and that one spark of imagination to ignite a few more minds into exploring our wonderful past.
{REST} The Disney park will spur renewed interest in visiting our national landmarks and monuments, not deter people.
