USAir is still king of the heap. But Continental, once just a bit player in Norfolk, has moved firmly into second with its CALite service. Meanwhile, some other carriers have seen passenger numbers fall.

Northwest Airlink: 1,760 passengers, down 81.3 percent. Market share - 0.13 percent.
TWA: 32,011 passengers, up 5.8 percent. Market share - 2.5 percent.
United: 63,680 passengers, down 20.9 percent. Market share - 4.9 percent.
United Express: 24,818 passengers, down 5.8 percent. Market share - 1.9 percent.
USAir: 466,538 passengers, up 41.3 percent. Market share - 35.7 percent.
USAir Express (Allegheny Commuter): 188 passengers, no service last year. Market share - 0.01 percent.
USAir Express (Chautauqua): 2,857 passengers, no service last year. Market share - 0.2 percent.
USAir Express (Jet Stream): 737 passengers, no service last year. Market share - 0.06 percent.
USAir Express (Piedmont): 45,188 passengers, down 14.3 percent. Market share - 3.5 percent.
