WILLARD H. ANDREWS

{LEAD} Willard Henry Andrews, 90, of 200 West Constance Road, died at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital on June 21, 1994. He was born in Windsor, Va., son of William Henry Andrews and Janie Eva Marshall Andrews. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, attended the University of Virginia, and was a lifelong resident of Suffolk.

Mr. Andrews owned and operated Virginia Carolina Peanut Storage Corp. during the '40s and '50s; he later worked in the Right of Way Division of the Virginia Department of Transportation until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman, being a longtime member of the Isaak Walton League and the Rogers Deer Club. He was a member of Suffolk Christian Church.

{REST} He was predeceased by two brothers, Marshall Andrews and Judge Thomas C. Andrews, and two sisters, Mary Andrews Rollings and M. Violet Andrews, all of Suffolk. His survivors include his wife Mary Diana Hill Andrews, two sons, Willard H. Andrews, Jr. of Richmond and Richard L. Andrews of Suffolk, and four grandchildren, Brad and Todd Andrews and Lee and Kristen Andrews.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Andrews, 103 Edgewood Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 23. Graveside services will be conducted in Cedar Hill Cemetery on Friday, June 24, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Mark L. Burns.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad or a favorite charity. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
