CHARLIE L. GOODMAN

{LEAD} Charlie L. Goodman, 73, of the 1300 block of Goodman St., died June 20, 1994.

Mr. Goodman was born in Norfolk County. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a member and trustee of Little Zion Baptist Church, Bowers Hill, Chesapeake, and member of the Senior Choir. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Mable L. Goodman; a daughter, Faye Goodman Gee; two sons, Malcolm L. Goodman and Walter A. Goodman; a sister, Elsie Mae Shannon; two brothers, Leon Goodman and Edward Goodman; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Little Zion Baptist Church, Bowers Hill, by the Rev. Roland Brown. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
