EDNA L. DAVIS

{LEAD} Edna Lassiter Davis, 73, of the 900 block of Chumley Road, died June 23, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and was the widow of Bennett M. Davis. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Portsmouth.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Linda F. Watson of Brunswick, Maine; two sons, Carol B. Davis and Wayne M. Davis, both of Portsmouth; one sister, Mary Lee Sorrell of Portsmouth; and six grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Gene V. Primm. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
