DEREK W. MILLER

{LEAD} Derek Wayne Miller, 27, died Friday, June 24, 1994, in Newport News.

Mr. Miller was a native of Ithaca, N.Y., and a Peninsula resident for 15 years. He was employed by Mulberry Inn as a Sales Director for one year.

{REST} Survivors include his natural father, Edwin Miller of Newfield, N.Y.; parents, Leonard and Thelma Larson of Newport News; a sister, Debra Lee Harvey of Salisbury, N.C.; a brother, Edwin R. Miller, Jr. of Newport News; and grandparents, Susie Hamilton of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Ella Miller of Newfield, N.Y.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Umphlett Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles J. Dunleavy, Jr. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorials to Candii House, 3309 Granby St., Norfolk, Va.
