Mrs. Fleming was born in Pitt County, N.C., a member of Third Baptist Church in Portsmouth and the widow of William C. Fleming.
{REST} Survivors include a daughter, Rosa B. Key of Portsmouth; two sons, William M. Shepard of Portsmouth and Lynwood ``Earl'' Fleming of Fayetteville, N.C.; four sisters, Mary Ebron of Greenville, N.C., Laura Clemon and Deloris Fleming, both of Newark, N.J., and Bessie Hopkins of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Daniel Adams of Newport News, Va., and Alonzo Adams of Newark, N.J.; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The family will also be at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa B. Key, 2729 Markham St., Portsmouth, but family and friends will assemble at the residence of Mrs. Fleming for the funeral service.
