Mrs. Eure was born in Portsmouth. She was a retired self-employed seamstress after 60 years and was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville, Portsmouth.
{REST} Survivors include her husband, Edward Eure; a daughter, Mary Lamb Boone of Portsmouth; four sons, Jerry Lee Lamb of Vallejo, Calif., James W. Lamb Sr., of Fairfield, Calif., and Thomas F. Lamb Sr., and Mario Slade, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Lila M. Bailey of Portsmouth; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at New First Baptist Church Taylorsville by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
