Mrs. Slavey was born in Annapolis, Md. She retired from Norfolk Supply Center, N.A.S., and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
{REST} Survivors include a nephew, John D. Straw of Panama City, Fla.; a niece, Ruth S. Pennington of Willoughby, Ohio; and two great-nieces, Beatrice M. Osbon of Richmond and Judith M. Robinson of Charlottesville, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Hugh C. White III. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
