Mrs. Cantrell was a native and lifelong resident of Bristol, Va., but had resided in the Tidewater area for the past 18 months. She was a member of Temple Freewill Baptist Church in Bristol.
{REST} Survivors include her children, Lois C. Evans of Corpus Christi, Texas, Noble G. Cantrell of Irvine, Calif., and Nyle S. Cantrell of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Akard Funeral Home, Bristol, Tenn., by the Rev. Burton. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, Va. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Akard Funeral Home, 1912 W. State Street, Bristol, Tenn., is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
