LAKISHA C. FORREST

{LEAD} Lakisha Christine Forrest, 18, of the 1100 block of Roseclair St., died June 25, 1994, in a local hospital.

She was born in Norfolk. She attended Norfolk State University as a freshman and was an honors student and member of the University President's List.

{REST} Survivors include her mother, Patricia A. Forrest of Norfolk; father, Archie B. Mitchell of Norfolk; four sisters, Cassandra, Archiella, Candice and Winona; two brothers, David and Archie Jr.; maternal grandparents, George and Mattie Forrest of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Ester Mitchell of Norfolk; fiance, Dwight Hammond of Norfolk; five uncles; five aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Ronnie B. Joyner. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Friends will assemble with the family at 1114 Roseclair St. at noon Friday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
