GRANBY, MAURY PLAYERS DOMINATE TEAM\

{LEAD} COMETS AND Commodores dominate the 1994 All-Eastern District boys soccer team.

Coach of the year Pat McStay has five of his Granby players on the team and Maury added four players.

{REST} Seniors Matt Butler, Sean Zinser, Shad Leseberg and Chris Underwood and sophomore Jarrod Hauber head the Granby squad.

Senior Pat Ibert, juniors Tiff Hagan and Seth Taylor and sophomore Aaron Neatherly represented Maury. Lake Taylor's Mike Zafra, Booker T. Washington Aquino Edison and Norview's Chuck Barnes rounded out the team.

Sophomore forward Hauber paced the Comets with 20 goals and four assists.

Butler, Zinser and Underwood combined for 18 goals. Even goalie Leseberg scored one goal.

Granby and Maury players also garner three spots each on the second team.

Maury senior Chris Mitchum, junior Josh Bradley and sophomore Aaron Katrancha earned spots on the second team as did Granby seniors Justin Schauf and Chris Bates and junior Jeremy Churchill.

Booker T. Washington's Joseph Bergin and Mogencia Joseph, Norview's Paul Platt and Brian Larchak and Lake Taylor's Joel Jimenez and David Stonum rounded out the second team. by CNB
