WHEN FOES DON'T SHOW, GALS PLAY MEN\

{LEAD} For once the 12-run rule didn't play a role in Sisters' softball game last week.

The 12-0 Sisters have rolled over everyone in their division with every game being called after five innings because of the 12-run rule. Last week Sisters were scheduled to play Fleet Printing at Northside Park. When Fleet didn't show, Sisters found a men's Class D team, which was also stood up, and they played for fun.

{REST} Sisters led 7-4 before the Screaming Eagles went to bat in the fourth. Several costly errors allowed the Screaming Eagles to score four runs in that inning and they held on for the win.

At least one of the Sisters wasn't complaining about the loss.

``To be honest with you I'd rather play the men and have some competition,'' Wanda Crump said. ``I prefer this. It really makes us play.'' by CNB
