JAMES H. EURE JR.

{LEAD} James Henry ``Nu Nu'' Eure Jr., 58, of the 400 block of Chilholm Drive, a retired clerk, died June 28, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Mr. Eure was born in Norfolk, son of the late Thelma G. and James Henry Eure. He was retired from D.D. Jones after 20 years. He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Maywood A. Eure; five daughters, Evone Choice of Tulsa, Okla., Ren Humphery and Remona West, both of Virginia Beach, and Brenda Heard and Carolyn Nicholson, both of Norfolk; three sons, Michael Eure of California, James Humphery of Norfolk and the Rev. Theodore R. Nicholson of Philadelphia; one sister, Helen Whitney of Norfolk; one brother, Luther T. Eure of Virginia Beach; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at his residence. Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
