OSWARD A. CHAPPELLE

{LEAD} Osward Allbee Chappelle, 63, of the 1100 block of Burlington Road, a retired pipefitter, died June 29, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Chappelle was born in Back Bay, Va., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Word of Life Christian Center.

{REST} Survivors include two stepdaughters, Sharon Weston and Teresa Melson, both of Virginia Beach; one son, Jeffrey Lee Chappelle of Chesapeake; one sister, Katherine Cook and one brother, Arthur A. Chappelle, both of Virginia Beach; and two grandsons.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 8 to 9:30 p.m. today and also at 328 Golden Maple Drive, Virginia Beach, at other times.
