Wouldn't it be more beneficial to all concerned - tobacco companies, stockholders and tobbacco farmers - if the time, effort, and money were spent to develop a variety of uses for tobacco?
Beet and sugar-cane pulp, and cotton seeds, all now used, once were waste products.
Perhaps we need someone to do for the tobacco grower what George Washington Carver did for the peanut grower.
