Wendel Glenn ``J.R.'' Parrish, Jr., 32, of the 4800 block of Honey Grove Road, died June 30, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Parrish was born in Prince George, Va. He was employed at Witchduck Inn, Virginia Beach. He was a graduate of Bayside High School in 1981 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cussins of Virginia Beach; a sister, Trudie Overfield of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Tyson Cussins of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Lila Noisworthy of Virginia Beach; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cussins of Marienville, Pa.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday for visitation.
