Nellie Mae Croom of the 400 block of Chapel St., died June 29, 1994.
Mrs. Croom was born in Kinston, N.C. She was a member of New Bethlehem Church of Christ Disciples of Christ and the widow of Henry Croom.
Survivors include two sisters, Doris Tuck of Durham, N.C., and Ivy Jane Mizingo of Kinston, N.C.; a niece, Dorothy Hamilton; and a nephew, Walter Willoughby.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at New Bethlehem Church of Christ Disciples of Christ by Elder Proctor Freeman. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at 507 Henderson St., Portsmouth.
