Does it bother you the way it bothers me to think our U.S. Congress even now is scheming and seeking ways to extort more of the wages we work for each day? That it continually expands the role of government in our lives and places binding laws upon us from which members exclude themselves? That U.S. Sen. Chuck Robb wholeheartedly supported the largest tax increase in American history last year and that he gives full support to Clinton's masterpiece of socialism which will place the most advanced medical system in the world directly into the hands of a massive federal bureaucracy? Such matters should bother us!
It seems like a good idea to me to send someone like Oliver North to Congress to stand up to the arrogant hypocrisy and fight for some much-needed changes.
I find it curious that so many Washington insiders are scared to death of him and are showing such resistance to his candidacy at all levels. The same mentality that denied him victory over communism in Vietnam and tried desperately to tie his hands in Central America is now working overtime to deny him victory in Virginia.
Lt. Col. Oliver North is a fighter and most likely will not forget what Congress tried to do to him or what it does to you and me every day. I can think of no better gift for Virginia to present to the U.S. Congress than Sen. Oliver North!
