Elizabeth Anne ``Bethany'' Hailey, 3 1/2-year-old daughter of Deborah J. Parham Hailey and James B. Hailey of the 2000 block of Rock Lake Loop, died July 3, 1994, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She was born in Baerum, Norway. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and Ocean Tumblers of Virginia Beach.
Other survivors include her maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Parham of Zuni; paternal grandfathers, Jack Powell of Findlay, Ohio, and James Boyd Hailey Sr. of Marionville, Mo.; paternal great-grandmother, Eloise Hailey of Mount Vernon, Mo.; four uncles; four aunts; six cousins; and many friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. J. Waverly Horne. The family will receive friends at the home of William and Elizabeth Parham, 19453 Tomlin Hill Drive, Zuni, and suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bethany's name to Ocean Tumblers, 2725 Sonic Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454.
