Caleb ``Buster'' Parham, 71, of the 14500 block of St. Luke's Road, a retired laborer, died July 9, 1994, in Southampton Memorail Hospital, Franklin.
Mr. Parham was born in Nansemond County. He was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ, Sedley.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Parham; two daughters, Doris Y. Williams of Courtland and Dorothy Parham of Richmond; seven sons, Lawrence Parham of Sedley, Caleb Parham Jr. of Stony Creek, Raymond Parham of Littleton, Va., John T. Parham of Drewryville, Charles Vaughan of Franklin, Jerry L. Vaughan of Sedley and Terry Vaughan of Detroit; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one son-in-law; five daughters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and a devoted mother-in-law, Lettie Parker of Sedley.
A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke United Church of Christ, Sedley, by the Rev. J.J. Ferguson. Burial will be in the Parker Family Cemetery, Sedley. Engram Funeral Home, Courtland, is handling arrangements. Buster's last spoken words remembered by his wife were: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
