Betty Lee Scofield, 67, of Virginia Beach, died July 12, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Scofield was a native of Norfolk. She graduated from the DePaul Hospital School of Nursing in 1947 and is an Alumni member.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest LeRoy Scofield; two daughters, Karen S. Lane and Lee Ellen Baecht, both of Virginia Beach; three sons, Ernest L. Scofield Jr. and George Matthew Scofield, both of Virginia Beach, and Timothy Paul Scofield of Chesapeake; her mother, Lillian B. Burnell of Chesapeake; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Bill Kincaid. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park at a later date.
