Julia Mayo Brasfield, formerly of Crittenden, Va., died July 9, 1994, in Texarkana.
She was the daughter of the late James Edward and Florence Moody Mayo. Mrs. Brasfield was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Texarkana. She retired from Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock.
Survivors include a son, James M. Brasfield of Branson, Mo.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. Russell O. Leonard. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge of arrangements.
