Elizabeth ``Betty'' McPherson, 72, of 4561-3 Beck Lake Trail, died July 13, 1994, in Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McPherson was born in Baltimore on Oct. 30, 1921, and moved to Brevard County in 1984 from Virginia Beach, Va. She was a former real estate broker.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Kelleher of Albuquerque, N.M., and Clara Elizabeth ``Beth'' Ewing of Williamsburg; three stepdaughters, Kate Bloomer and Susan Woodhouse of Virginia Beach, and Lilless Shilling of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; three stepsons, Stephen McPherson of Galax, Va., James McPherson of Silver Spring, Md., and David McPherson of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, Brann, Blair and Kieran Kelleher; a sister, Jacqueline Durham of Melbourne Beach; a brother, Jacob Schmidt of Norfolk, a niece, Becky Durham-Flint of Melbourne Beach; numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and an adopted son, Binh Nguyen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Memorial services will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 17, at 963 Baillio Drive, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
