George W. Wiggins Jr. of the 100 block of Broad St. died July 17, 1994, after a short illness.
He was a native of Nansemond County, son of the late George W. Wiggins Sr. and Annie Wiggins. He was retired from the City of Franklin after 25 years and was a member of Corinth Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Wiggins; three sons, Reginald Wiggins, Carlton Wiggins and Tracey Wiggins; two daughters, Freda Warren and Volator Massenburg; a devoted friend, Rebie Perry; one brother, Aronia Bethea; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Elvin Vaughan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Joseph Greene. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
