Frances Griffin Waters, formerly of Norfolk, widow of John H. Waters Jr., died Sunday, July 17, 1994.
She is survived by four sons, John H. Waters III of Hampden-Sydney, William G. Waters and Robert P. Waters, both of Roanoke, Richard B. Waters of Richmond; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Waters was a member of Ginter Park United Methodist Church.
Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, at Ginter Park United Methodist Church. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ginter Park United Methodist Church.
