Dorothy Behm Parker, 81, a homemaker, died July 18, 1994, in Roanoke Valley Nursing Home.
Mrs. Parker was born in Harvard, Ill., and was the widow of Grady W. Parker. She was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Jean Edwards of Virginia Beach; one son, Donald W. Parker of Woodland; one brother, Roger Behm of Woodstock, Ill.; grandchildren, Gary Edwards of Charleston, S.C., Greg Parker of Greenville, N.C., and Lynn Flanagan of Farmville, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Grady Edwards and Casy Edwards of Charleston.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Woodland Cemetery by the Rev. Michael LeBurg. Garrett Funeral Home, Rich Square, N.C., is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church.
