A Norfolk teenager was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison for the slaying last August of another teenager in Ocean View.
James Gregory Jones, 18, pleaded guilty in April to second-degree murder and use of a firearm during a felony. On Monday, he was given 17 years in prison on the murder charge and three years on the firearm conviction.
Jones shot and killed 17-year-old Robby A. Mahone Aug. 8 after an argument between the two.
