Alpha H. Roy, 81, died July 19, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Roy was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was the widow of Arthur C. Roy. She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan V. Roy and one son, James A. Roy, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Anna Bennett, Grace Linhart and Betty Black, all of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren, Virginia Victoria Roy and William Arthur Roy.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Danny Morris. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centerville Baptist Church Building Fund.
