My congratulations for printing Robert Novak's column ``Black Caucus diplomacy guides Haiti policy'' (July 12). This is another ``opposite-page editorial'' about which the bleeding liberals will surely vent their anger.
But isn't it truly time for the U.S. Congress to get involved? During the Reagan and Bush administration it insisted on voting on every issue involving not only the use of U.S. forces but also the use of funds to support one side or the other in the internal struggles of other nations.
Where is Congress now? Where are the media that should be supporting congressional involvement?
