Dorothy Runnells Chamblin, 80, died July 23, 1994, in a Savannah hospital.
Mrs. Chamblin was a native of Norfolk. She was the widow of Charles Chapman ``Chappie'' Chamblin. She was a life member of Freemason Street Baptist Church in Norfolk. She was past president of The Junior Woman's Club of Norfolk and a member of Elizabeth River Woman's Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn C. McLaughlin of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Janet R. Fiveash of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Kim M. Sharp and Melissa M. Turner, both of Savannah, Ga., and Beth M. Elrod of Athens, Ga.; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 1994 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by Dr. Donald J. Dunlap. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
