WILLIAM H. OWENS

   William H. Owens, 68, of the 300 block of Hospital Drive, died July 24, 
1994, in a Newport News hospital.
   Mr. Owens was born in Harlan, Ky. He had retired from Ford Motor Co. 
Norfolk Truck Division after 31 years. He was the widower of Frances M. Owens 
and was a Protestant. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 919 and
was a Navy veteran of World War II.
   Survivors include a daughter, Helen Senkiewicz of Alpharetta, Ga.; three 
sons, Mike G. Rozos of Hollywood, Fla., George G. Rozos of Virginia Beach and 
Nick G. Rozos of Newport News; a sister, Audrey Scott of Harlan, Ky.; a 
brother, Fred V. Owens of Harlan; and seven grandchildren.
   The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn 
Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Robert Pittman. Friends may join the family from 
7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel.
   Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
