SHIRLEY S. ROSENFELD

   Shirley Simon Rosenfeld, 89, of the 900 block of Armfield Circle, died July
25, 1994, in a local hospital.
   Mrs. Rosenfeld was a native of New York City and moved to Norfolk in 1942. 
She was the widow of Max Rosenfeld, who died in 1990. Shirley and Max together
for over 40 years owned and operated Antell's, a ladies shop in downtown 
Norfolk. She was a charter member of Temple Israel and its Sisterhood in 
Norfolk. Mrs. Rosenfeld was also a member of the Jewish Community Center of 
Tidewater.
   Survivors include two sons, Albert Rosenfeld of Norfolk and Franklin 
Rosenfeld of Bethesda, Md.; a sister, Selma Moretzsky of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; 
four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
   A chapel service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman and Cantor Isaac Danker. 
The family will be at 1806 Banning Road in Norfolk. Memorial contributions may
be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
