ROBERT L. WARD JR.

   Robert Lee Ward Jr., 14, of the 1500 block of Garland Way, died July 22, 
1994.
   Robert was born in Virginia Beach and was a Baptist. He was a student at 
Landstown Middle School.
   Survivors include his mother, Mary L. Palmer of Virginia Beach; his father,
Robert L. Ward Sr. of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Michelle Howard, Resa 
Palmer, Sheri Palmer, all of Virginia Beach, and Felicia Owens of Norfolk; a 
brother, Darnell Johnson of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparent, Nick-demus 
Olds of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparent, Washington Ward of Virginia 
Beach; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
   A funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Thursday in Little Piney Grove 
Baptist Church, Creeds, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. M.E. Thompkins. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel,
is handling arrangements.
