CRASH VICTIM IDENTIFIED

   Police have identified the woman who died in a three-car, hit-and-run 
accident Saturday night as Gloria M. King.
   King, 38, of the 400 block of E. Brambleton Ave., died in a hospital after 
the Nissan Maxima she was in collided with another vehicle, then hit a 
telephone pole in the 7000 block of Granby St.
   The Maxima was hit about 11:10p.m. by a Nissan 380 Z that also hit an 
oncoming 1983 Audi, then sped away.
   Police later found the 380 Z in a Virginia Beach body shop, spokesman Larry
Hill said. The alleged driver of the car, Jason E. Adkins, 21, of the 3600 
block of Pleasant Ave., was arrested late Monday afternoon. He is charged with
two counts of hit and run personal injury, a felony.
   Police say their investigation is continuing.
