Lt. Col. (Retired) William Allen Brown, U.S. Army, of the 1200 block of Captain Adams Court, died Monday, July 25, 1994, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Dean Brown; sons, Michael A. and William Dean Brown; sisters, Elizabeth R. Gault and Ellen Thomas; brothers, Earl (Pete) Montgomery and Allen Emory Brown Jr.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria, Va., on Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 9 a.m. in Fort Myer Chapel. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1556 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455.
